Are you interested in becoming a certified 200 Hour Yoga Teacher?  Join us for your well-rounded "Foundations Training".   This training is geared to get you teaching and teaching well.  You will also get an introduction to Ayurveda and natural health, as well as extensive personal healing; after all, we have to dig deep in order to empty out and fill up with new goodness, aspirations and passions.


Anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a retreat style yoga experience, for the purpose of deepening their personal practice, or to learn how to effectively teach well rounded, safe, and powerful Vinyasa & Hatha asana classes, meditation, pranayama and yoga history.



Typically, to teach yoga anywhere in the world, an instructor is required to hold a minimum 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification from a Registered Yoga Alliance School. The International Yoga Alliance is a non-profit governing body that represents and supports Yoga Teachers, Yoga Schools, and Yoga Studios. Our school has been registered with The Yoga Alliance since 2007, and currently holds a 200, 300 and 500 School Designation.​ WE NOT ONLY MEET THE YOGA ALLIANCE STANDARDS, WE EXCEED THEM. WE HAVE OVER 25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN OFFERING QUALITY TRAININGS.



During your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will study our 200 Hour Curriculum (listed below), practice various styles of asana, including Vinyasa, Gentle Yoga and 

Yoga Nidra (a yogic sleep meditation), which science exhibits that a 45 minute practice of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4-6 hours of deep sleep.


  • You can expect to leave your 200-Hour YTT Program with the necessary tools to teach empowering, heartfelt, REAL yoga classes to your students of all ages, shapes, sizes and level of experience. 

  • When you become a yoga teacher, you become a teacher of life, a guide. This 'job' is not be taken lightly.  You will leave your training with the tools that are required to effectively guide your students in healing their mind, body, and spirit.

  • A MSYI Teacher is one who possesses authenticity, grace, and courage to follow their true path. They know the importance of self-love, have an anchored personal practice, and extensive knowledge in all areas of yoga. The embodiment of their own teachings make them a wonderful example for their students.  This will be YOU!



Upon completion of  your 200 Contact Hours, you are required to fulfill your practicum post-training requirement as follows:​

  • 5 hours of Volunteer Experience (SEVA: being at service).

  • Complete your final 500 Word Essay Assignment; this is awarded to each student individually.

  • Complete your 10 class observation forms.

  • Complete your personal practice log.

The details of your post-training assignment will be advised subsequent to the completion of your contact hours.  These assignments have been designed to anchor your learnings from your contact hours and have proven to support the success of you as a teacher.

3)  Posture Summary & Sanskrit Guide 

  • Study over 108 yoga postures, including the english ands Sanskrit name, anatomical target, contraindication, prop usage and modification.

4)  Effective Teaching 

  • Learn and practice valuable tools and teaching methodology to support you in becoming an unscripted and powerful yoga teacher.

  • You will have the ability to really speak to each and every student in your yoga class.

  • You will explore the use of your voice, oral language, body language, and visualization.

  • You will have the ability to connect with your students confidently through verbal cues, use of props, effective demonstration, and acute observation. Learn how to provide safe, and effective physical adjustments for every body.


5)  Yoga Fundamentals 

  • Explore the theory, practice and teaching of Pranayama, Chanting, Mantra, Mudras, and Meditation.

  • You will incorporate tools from Module 4 to learn how to effectively teach each one of these skills.

6)  Functional Anatomy & Physiology 

  • Study human anatomy and how it applies to each yoga asana.

  • Study effective movement based on physiotherapy methodology.​


7)  Class Formats & Safe Sequencing 

  • Explore a number of popular styles of yoga; power yoga (vinyasa yoga), gentle yoga, and Yoga Nidra (Sleep Yoga).

  • Learn basic principles of asana sequencing.

  • Learn how to safely create your own powerful yoga class formats in  Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, incorporating learnings from Module 5 and 6. 


8)  Specialized Teaching 

  • Learn how yoga supports the healing of common injuries, illness and life-changes (such as pregnancy and menopause).

  • Learn how to foster a connection of healing with your students this module incorporates techniques from previous modules: Asana, Pranayama, Mantra, Mudra, yoga history, and simple coaching techniques.​

9)  Modern Nutrition From Ancient Practice

  • Learn basic nutrition do's and dont's, and how to incorporate 'ahimsa' into your nutrition when it comes to dieting and cleansing.

  • Study an Introduction to Ayurveda (sister science to yoga), with Hali Love (Certified Ayurveda Consultant, and Traditional Chinese Medicine), and with Dr. Randi Raymond (PhD).  

  • Learn how to add balance to your lifestyle through simple practices from each of these ancient modalities.​

10)  Energies of Yoga

  • Explore the subtle energies of yoga, including Chakras, Nadis, Prana, Vayus and The 5 Sheaths.

  • Discover how each one contributes to modern yoga  and healing.​

11)  Launch Your Yoga Career with Success
